Emission standards
- 175 series: US EPA Tier 2
- 27/38 series: IMO Tier II
- 26/32 and 32/40 series: IMO Tier I or Tier II
- 200 series: electronic unit pump control reduces harmful emissions compared with mechanical injection

Durability
The 175 series reaches its first overhaul at 35,000 hours, with a mean effective pressure of 2.0 MPa. The 190 series engines were improved to resolve oil, water and gas leaks and to make maintenance easier.
Generator set performance
- Steady-state voltage regulation within ±2.5%
- Transient voltage regulation +20% / −15%, recovery in 1.5 s or less
- Frequency fluctuation 0.5% or less
- Protection grade IP23, insulation class H
